Wife wants me to watch sermon with her.
Not sure if I'm posting this in the right section of the forum but here goes: If a Christian friend or family member agreed to watch one video that showcases an atheist (or why that atheist is no longer a Christian) viewpoint, which video would you pick?

Recently my wife joined a life group at her church and now the group all knows I don't believe, so a few of the (well meaning) women are suggesting videos, sermons, books, etc..for her to tell me to watch/read so that maybe I'll join her church. I try to be open minded and I don't want the subject of religion to be off limits so frequently I will placate her.

Her pastor just wrote a book on near death experiences and is bringing in people who have had one to talk to the church. This Sunday he is interviewing an atheist college professor who had an NDE and is now a Christian minister and she wants me to go with her to hear him. My guess is to show me that this guy was a staunch non believer but Jesus changed him. In case you're curious here is a clip of his story: http://youtu.be/RnUBUiYclkY

I think it's fair to say that I'll go watch him if she watched just one video that explains my perspective. Not in a sense to deconvert her, just to show her my viewpoint. it's a long shot but if she agrees I was thinking of someone like Jerry Dewitt who is very easy to listen to and also gives a humanistic message as well.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

I think you should either both watch each others' videos or both not watch.

That's what I'm thinking. I'll go watch this guy but on the condition she watches a video of my choosing. Though I've already sat through 20+ hours of sermons and videos of her stuff already. So I think my conditions are fair.

I recommend videos of Tori Black or maybe Lexi Belle. I will watch any video my wife wants, if she'll watch those with me...

Seriously though, my wife and I have called a mutual truce. We have agreed that in any discussions about religion we will both get equal airtime. It suits us both and has resulted in making our differences in belief a non-issue.

I just wanted to let you know that I love you even though you aren't naked right now. Heart

If you're allowed an entire playlist, I'd recommend Evid3nc3.
