Windows 7 RAM Problem
Hey, I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit and I have 6GB of Kingston HyperX RAM on my motherboard which is a ASUS P6T SE which can have 24GB of RAM, but Windows 7 is only saying there is 4GB of RAM, but when I run CPUZ is says I have 6GB. Anyone know what might be wrong?

Yeah, but what's a motherboard?

(as I laugh out loud)

Haha, why did you post this here?

Anyway. It's odd, given that you have a 64-bit OS. A wild guess would be that you have an onboard video card and it's using 2gb of Shared Video Memory from the system. 2gb sounds like a lot to be shared though. Check on the MB's manual how to access the BIOS setup (usually by pression DEL or F2 at startup) and how to change the values of shared video ram.

Or just ask qualified people Tongue
