NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

RE: Words I want to remember
A word that I do not want to meet again: "carunculated". Wildlife author, Gerald Durrell, must have discovered and decided to (over) use it in one if his books. I think there were about forty uses. The comb of a chicken is carunculated. It is amazing how many carunculated animals and birds he found in S. American!

One good word is "nugatory", "of no signicance interest, futile, useless . . ." One boss where I worked was a word snob and we used to "introduce" such words when talking or writing to him - just to see how many he adopted.

Have you been viewing "Blackadder", Banjo?

Can't take full credit for that one... I've heard the sentiment from a few places before.
