Poland isn't much different in this regard I think. Only most interesting foreign news get coverage.

It is quite old news, about 16 years or so out of date. As for Kwaśniewski I imagine that he has Wikipedia entry. He is no one special though.

As you see his atheism was suspect. I think his words were pathetic beyond measure even if they were uttered only for political gain. This is how left - not all - look like.

I thought I was the only one who noticed. Everything happens within the US. One event every 24 hours.

The USA has an international reputation for being seriously colloquial regards news coverage, initially I thought it was an unfair accusation but having been here a while now I have to draw the conclusion that this is mostly a justified criticism amongst the general population only atheist or minority groups are prepared to look deeper.

Maybe you mean provincial. What does Gary Johnson's what is Aleppo quip tell us? He is no idiot. But he has grown up in a culture that does not consider the rest of the world important enough to know about. Except may when going to war with them. Brexit was somewhat uncharacteristically given decent coverage though.

I thought Adey meant a simplified, colloquial style of reporting, but maybe you're right. Adey needs to clarify...

Provincial would be a better more accurate turn of phrase, not that all Americans are provincial by any means but there does seem to be an increased level of provincialism with regards news reporting.

How exactly is that fair or equal treatment?

So you're pissed off that these government grants are...creating more jobs? There are many kinds of government grants, some of which a business developed by you would be eligible for. If you're too lazy to research and apply for them, that's not the fault of the immigrants putting in 90 hours a week at their businesses.

I'm married to a white guy without a college degree who did, at one point, lose a job to outsourcing overseas. His reaction was to go find a better job, not whine about the system being unfair. I find it impossible to feel sorry for you and your feelings of entitlement.

Creating more minimum wage jobs is not the answer. I am complaining that immigrants get huge amounts of help with getting the grants. While, I might be able to get a grant if I had the help they get I am unable to get by the stinking scams on the internet. You can't do it by researching it yourself. These people only get it due to the things in place to help them along.

No, they were given help by places such as Acorn. The things needed for getting a grant (written statements) and other things are done for them. I could do it myself if there was information on where and how to submit it. They are given help from step one to the end.
