Question Worthy Economic or Political simulators?
Do any of you know of any publicly available economic or political simulators?

I'm not necessarily talking only about "games". But maybe something someone created for fun, or something an organization created for some project. Realism is a priority.

Preference of suggestions goes to free online versions.

RE: Worthy Economic or Political simulators?
There are stock market simulators, and most of 'm use up-to-date info on the stockmarket.
There are a few games focusing on trade like spice road or west indian market (sorry, names may differ cuz i played them a really long time ago) just google "trading strategy games windows" or "merchant strategy games windows"
maybe freecol (indie remake of civilications)
/never played it,soooo

i played an indie 4x game couple of years ago, wich was basically a masters of orion game where you could do all kinda stuff, like trading between other races, setting foreign policies, raise taxes, internal policies, etc.
Not that realistic, but nevertheless a fun game

MSBB:
Don't let anyone define who you are.
Me:
Can we define him as he defines himself? Or will he define himself as we define how he defines himself? But, if we do that, will we define him as he defines himself based on our definition of how we see him define himself?

RE: Worthy Economic or Political simulators?
If such a thing existed and were of high fidelity, there would no longer be different schools of economics. The thing that makes something like this so difficult, is that people have differing opinions of what is in their own best interest, and often can not tell what ideas, let alone what politician, will further their best interest even to the degree they can formulate it.

Softly, softly, catchee monkey.
