RE: Would you steal money?
If I had to. But I find that taking steps to avoid finding myself in a situation where I had to a more prudent strategy.

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

Risk vs Reward kids. You're all thieves. Every last one of you.

So many cats, so few good recipes.

I used to steal my older sisters 'cool' clothes when she wasn't looking. The reward was great when she caught me wearing it at our school. Big Grin

So yeah, I agree with you there.

In terms of consequences, and associated risks, obviously $5 and $5,000 and $5,000,000,000 are all vastly different in what happens. Based on recent events, $5 is a fine, $5,000 is a prison term, $5,000,000,000 is a Presidential Medal of Freedom or some such shit.

But, in terms of the basic morality of it, stealing is stealing.

But morality is self made. That being that what is moral and what isn't is what you perceive to be moral/not moral.

So like, you steal 10c from a mate, you might not see that as being such a big moral dilemma as say, stealing $500.
10c isn't going to rest on your conscious, but $500 might.

I don't see any reason to steal in that scenario but being stupid.

I have a cool job even if it's got it's mega suckiness attached to it and it's not like a doomed entrapment. Steal and just go off on a run away there? Seems unworthy to me.

RE: Would you steal money?
Would I steal the cash? No. Would I want to? Yes. See, we all have temptations. We'd all feel an urge to take it. But we wouldn't because we exercise self-control. Now, of course, some smartass is going to sweep in here, quote this message and say, "I'd steal it."

To which I say: fuck off bitch.

In fact, I still have some of her high school clothes. The flannel shirt still looks fly.

Oh it was local... but now well, it's not quite Wall Street - it's NASDAQ. Don't let that fool you though, Howard Schultz is a Brooklyn whore boy, born and raised. He'll suck every bean right out of Seattle's little Mermaid, just before he shreds her and kicks her to the curb. SuperSonics, anyone... Storm, perhaps? Dodgy
