YOUR best way of relating to the world:
It can be a combination of a few from the following list (plus a few others I did not think of.)

So what is yours?

A. Take the most from it that it can offer
B. Laugh at it's craziness
C. Avoid it if at all possible
D. Manipulate it to best advantage
E. Accept it as it is
F. Use it for source material in Art
G. Bleed on its barricades while trying to save it from itself
H. Pretend to be from another Planet
I. Walk away (as much as possible) with contempt

RE: YOUR best way of relating to the world:
I see I missed a few other possibles (noy mine though)?

J. Like an alien anthropologist studying a primitive sentient culture
K. Like a Psychiatrist studying an interesting mental problem
L. Like a doctor being fascinated by an incurable disease.
M. Like a puppeteer mastering his art
N. Like a Machiavelli, pulling his strings on unsuspecting people.

I am sure there are a lot more attitudes we will hear that were not mentioned yet.

Big Grin

So finally your name is explained. I thought you represented a British Sunday newspaper.

There used to be a The_ before it but I erased it as soon as I found out about that paper.

also...
I have this feature (I don’t like to call it a condition) called HSP which enables me to see things others seem to pass.

You're a sewer inspector? Nice job but I guess someone has to do it.

RE: YOUR best way of relating to the world:
How do I relate to the world? Hmmmm....well, I suppose I just endure it.
I don't see the world as inherently good or bad nor do I view it as a "school".

To me it's just a planet and all I am is a single, insignificant being among billions.

Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return.
To obtain, something of equal value must be lost.
That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange.

It's pretty bad when you'll be cruel half the time and overly sympathetic the rest. At least I don't have to worry about living up to human standards =p

I'm not a non believer, I believe in the possibility of anything. I just don't let the actuality of something be determined by a 3rd party.

AB, C comes for free with the booze.

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.
