I just finished Mirai Nikki, or Future Diary.

I only ate them once and I can say with certainty they are the worst fruit. If life gave me lemons, I would view it as nothing short of a declaration of war."

I just finished Higuarshi no naku koro ni (When they cry)[1], and am about to head into Higuarshi no naku koro ni kai[2]. It's apparently based on a kind of choose your own adventure game[3], giving it a weird but interesting alternative timeline mechanic.

I came to the series via this image (warning, graphic violence/torture):

... which pretty much sums up the theme.

Give me your argument in the form of a published paper, and then we can start to talk.

I have never watched Higurashi, but I kinda want to. From what I've heard in reviews, it's decent in all areas, except for the English dub which is apparently atrocious.

PS. Hafnof, the term you are looking for is 'Visual Novel' not 'choose your own adventure'.

Since my last post, I finished .hack// Quantum and Attack on Titan (which I plan to watch with my dad this weekend). I also started Black Butler and Clannad After Story

Nice line up you have there.

I really recommend watching both, but After Story should really be watched right after the first Clannad.

If you don't mind, I suggest after you've watched Clannad, watch Toradora.

I need to finish the animes I'm on before I watch Kill la Kill or other anime. I think I'll pass on Excel Saga, started that and found it not holding.

So, what with Noah in the air and all.

Angel's Egg.

I still have no idea what the fuck is going on in that one.
