You Heard It Here First
A new term to learn from the fuck nuts who have spent the last 6 years swearing to demolish health care!

"Repair Obamacare."

Quote:WASHINGTON — Congress’s rush to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, once seemingly unstoppable, is flagging badly as Republicans struggle to come up with a replacement and a key senator has declared that the effort is more a repair job than a demolition.

“It is more accurate to say ‘repair Obamacare,’” Senator Lamar Alexander, Republican of Tennessee and chairman of the Senate health committee, said this week. “We can repair the individual market, and that is a good place to start.”

They do not know what the fuck they are doing.

I think they know what they are doing. If they don't get Democratic help all they can do is repeal the ACA (which is what some Republicans prefer to call it now instead of Obamcare) without replacing it. They know this mess will be called Trumpcare and they will not be able to distance themselves from it no matter how many times they call it the ACA. So what can they do? Well what they will do is propose some ridiculous "repairs" to make it look like the Democrats are being obstructionist, then they will propose fixes that already have bipartisan support knowing full well that the pussy libtard commie bastards will let them take full credit as long as it meant fixing a broken law for a stronger healthcare system. They're not stupid. They're tactics are just obvious to all but the stupid. And hell they'll keep using them as long as they keep working. Can't say I blame them.

The problem is Republicans can't fix Obamacare, without pushing for revisions that push more to the left, or become stiffer on the policies that they wanted to eradicate from the ACA to begin with, such as harsher penalties for the individual mandate.

The fact of the matter is republicans who have called for repealing Obamacare, have never attempted to think through a viable alternative, and now that they have no choice but to, are starting to realize they can't form one.

To Obama's credit he's devised a healthcare solution that is as conservative of a solution as it can get, there's no way to move any further to the right on it. There no choice other than to leave it as is, or move to the left.

Either that or they intend to "fix" the ACA to the point where it becomes truly broken so that nobody will object much when they finally repeal it.

I don't get why there isn't so many voices of supposed states rights conservatives who were fine with Romney care in Massachusetts but against the federal obamacare want to just make their replacement plans be shifting it to be a heavier simple low end enforcing of states having to imploment each owns state mandatory insurance or penalty regulations.

Yes, but even they are pretty fucking stupid.

Because Obama was a democrat. This is never an issue of ideas with the republicunts. It is a question of labels.
