RE: You cannot escape faith
So, I have faith in something.
What does that prove in the first place?
It's not proving god exists or anything.
It isn't an actually intelligent conversation.
It sounds more like you're just trying to antagonize people than to actually get something achieved, or have a polite, nice conversation. This thread has about no interesting content involved and doesn't even entertain, or prove anything. It's just spam. It has no useful information.
Anyways, just so I can add something of use to this.

I have faith, but I don't have blind faith anyways.
Faith is defined as "a strong belief or trust in something"
Belief is defined as "a feeling of being sure that someone or something exists or something is true."
So yes, I have faith, but not blind faith, because my belief and faith can be supported by evidence.

Insulting me will convert me real fast!
MSBB:
Don't let anyone define who you are.
Me:
Can we define him as he defines himself? Or will he define himself as we define how he defines himself? But, if we do that, will we define him as he defines himself based on our definition of how we see him define himself?

Help out here Losty, why is that? How do you get Bullet from Diddo97?

I believe it's a type of, very small, "bullet" sized vibrator.

I logically infer from your statement above that you are dim-witted. To believe this requires no faith on my part.

You are emabarrasing yourself.

faith - 2.b (1) : firm belief in something for which there is no proof

logic - a (1) : a science that deals with the principles and criteria of validity of inference and demonstration : the science of the formal principles of reasoning

Anyone who equates the principles of logic with a "firm belief in something for which there is no proof" is beyond dim-witted. They are a complete moron.

It might be useful to make the distinction between 'informed' and 'religious' faith; the latter requires only wishful thinking.

RE: You cannot escape faith
The things OP says most of the time are just so plain stupid I'm starting to actually think that these absurd outbursts are actually just a desperate appeal for attention. You sure like garnering attention don't you?

For somebody to say we can't know something we know is obviously a contradiction.

1) You know 1+1=2 (At least I hope you do)

2) Then you go on to provide baseless conjecture for your assertion- You need faith to believe that.

No, you do not need faith to believe that. You need to use proof, logic, reason... All words you've obviously never heard before otherwise you wouldn't say such an unlettered thing.

Things are open to change, but that does not mean we're so entirely unsure of it that we need faith to believe we have eyes.... If you can prove 1+1 does not equal 2, then lay it on me. If you cannot, then it stands (not by default), but because we've used our best available skills to determine this.

Everyday is judgement day. Use your judgement, use reason.
