Recipe?

There's no recipe, you get it from the chippy, trying to make it at home is just wrong!

You get it by going to an English chippy and asking for chips and curry sauce.

Well, off the top of my head, in Greece:

Lots of things about food...
-We have the joy of syrup+phyllo desserts.
-We have discovered one of the most delicious and simple things in life: bread soaked in the olive oil of a Greek salad (try it and you will never forget me).
-No limits to buying alcohol, place or time concerned.
-Age when you can start drinking alcohol: 17.
-Greek alcoholic drinks are almost always served with free food.
-Coffee time is sacred. We never drink coffee "on the go". It's like tea time.

And well
-Education is free. You don't have to pay for college. Actually, if you don't have a lot of money, during college, you have free acommodation and food.
-We learn at least two foreign languages at school (plus obligatory Ancient Greek).
-We have different words for "falling in love" and "loving" someone. Saves a lot of confusion and broken hearts.
-You can find the most basic good quality products in ridiculous prices (there are plenty healthy 1 euro alternatives to McDonalds).

Well, that's all I can think for now but I'm sure there's more. Countless times I've wondered "How can people live without X in other countries?"

To be fair on the cheese rolling thing, those big blocks of cheese are seriously worth a lot of money...

Also, since I have been forced against my will to use public transport, I have noted that we have those signs (number 22, signs that tell you when the next train will arrive) for our bus system.

Hedgehogs are filthy creatures.
They carry so many diseases.

Speaking of hedgehogs, the only animal I've hit (beside the literally millions of bugs) on my motorbike is a hedgehog.
Not on purpose, it was late and night and didn't see the little fucker.

Souvlaki and Moussaka. We need these! And Ouzo. We need that, too!

Meh. We've got most of that in Canada. Dodgy

Beer + ginger ale = shandy.

We haz maple syrup for the win.

U.S. coins have written on them:
one cent
five cents
one dime
quarter dollar
$1

I'll give you the Greek Salad part, the ones I had were incomparable!

As for Ancient Greek I imagine the only ones in the world that speak this language are you guys so it begs the question why?

Another + you also have really cool names.

But I could do without the whole Grexit drama.
