Wooowee. At $9 a bottle, it'd better be the best. I can almost get a 12 pack of my everyday beer for that moolah. If I ever see it, I'll be sure to pick up a bottle though.

It was actually a dollar cheaper because it was part of a custom six pack which is discounted. I found another place with even better prices for this though.

Thing is, I'm trying a bunch of new stuff. Since I love Belgians, I had to try this very highly regarded one.

But yea, I have a problem with beer right now lol. Definitely not wallet friendly. I wish I could go back to macrobrews :/

Fav style depends on the season/pairing but usually IPA, sometimes unfiltered wheat/heffen and sometimes stout.

My new declared fave is Pyramid Hefeweizen. It is unfiltered and just perfect.

Second is Blue Moon Belgian White.

Most days I drink wine with dinner, but I do love beer and those two hit my spot.

Oh My Glob I have found the best beer ever. I usually hate beer but this is fantastic. Samuel Adams Cherry Chocolate Bock, special release. It is freaking awesome. It has so much body between the chocolate almost coffee notes to the sour fruit finish. I never really got beer people before but this, this is amazing.

Ah, now this is my kind of thread!

My favorite beer, bar none, is Heineken.

As far as American lagers go, the conventional answer: Budweiser.

And as far as craft beers go, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. But I really dig Redd's Apple Ale, a relatively new ale that definitely has a unique taste to it. (Unique in the fact that it basically tastes like apple juice...but it's still good.)

So, I was at the liquor store yesterday.

I've got a Northern Harvest dark juniper ale from Trafalgar.
Tempest Imperial Stout from Amsterdam.
And last but not least one Woodworth and Edwards Travelling Revival Tour Honey Bee'lixir, from Railway City.
(Railway City being they of Dead Elephant IPA in St Thomas, ON, in honour of the one and only Jumbo the elephant)
