Your Favorite Beers; Everyday, Top Shelf, & Style.
Okay folks, This isn't the first favorite beer thread, but it has been several months, and I want to know more. Tell us your favorite mass produced beer that you drink on a regular basis, what is likely in your fridge at any given moment. Then, I want to know you favorite beer, usually the more expensive stuff that you don't drink everyday because it is special. Then I want to know your favorite style, whether it be IPA or Lager, or Porter, Pilsener, whatever. For me it is

My everyday beer.

Good head, good aroma, good taste, and good price. One of the best mass produced beers in my opinion. Brewed in America's oldest brewery located in Pottsville, PA

My favorite, more expensive beer.

Drooling
God this stuff is delicious, but impossible to find on tap anywhere near me. Damn hard to find in a bottle too. Use to buy it when I lived in VA but it is brewed in California. Much more complex than your standard off the shelf ale, it has come citrus noted to it, but not overpowering. Seeing it makes me drool. It does have a lot of alchohol in it compared t your average beer to, which means drinking less Weeping

My favorite style.
Probably Dark Lager, though I drink everything from IPA's to Imperial Stouts. I avoid the Pilesners, and the Light lagers.

My go-to is a Corona or sol but lately it has been the Mojito Lime Bud Light. Mmm.

If I want a mojito I'll have a mojito. If I want a beer I'll have a beer.

I'm still developing my beer palette though. I don't want to call it yet. But Bud Lite definitively sucks. Weak skunky piss in a can.

Taiwan Pijou is good. Nice medium lager with a unique taste. Hard to get in the states though.

E 2 = (mc 2)2 + (pc )2
614C → 714N + e + ̅νe
2 K(s) + 2 H2O(l) → 2 KOH(aq) + H2 (g) + 196 kJ/mol
It works, bitches.

Hm. I also like the smell of skunk, too.

I recently discovered a very enjoyable Irish Beer, Kilkenny.
It comes in in 440ml can, 1.5 std drinks, holds a great head and has a pleasing substantial flavour. Cheers!

I love Hefeweizen, but there are not many good ones here in the US.

Pyramid Hefeweizen is not bad, and it is also what you will find in my fridge. I keep a couple of bottles at hand in case a Hefeweizen emergency arises....Big Grin

Sorry to gang up on you LadyJane, but you have lost any and all credibility with me when it comes to beer. Blech.

Dom, right on, Hefeweisen is some good stuff, never heard of Pyramid, but Hefeweisens here aren't hard to find. Especially in VA. I hated that part of the state, but talk about a place with good beer, Hampton Roads has it. The Taphouse, The Pub (rename Park Lane Tavern I think). Even the super markets (Farm Fresh) had an excellent selection and every store had a beer room.

Phaedrus, never had a beer from Taiwan. I'd give it a try if I found it though. Come to think of it, I have only had beer from one Asain country, Japan...

No worries, what I drink changes by the week. I just like it all, which means no, I don't have good taste, but not bad taste either Tongue

I actually, maybe surprisingly, I drink harder alcohols over beer and drink beer only every once in awhile.

That last one was reserved for ultra-special occasions (it's my version of champagne), but I can't find it ANYWHERE anymore.
