RE: Your Summertime plans?
I plan to do nothing at all. Lazily lounging in the shade, reading, drinking something cold and refreshing, and the next day I'll do more of the same.

RE: Your Summertime plans?
I'm looking forward to the trip home (California).

But I've got to wait until the end of August for that. Undecided

In the meantime, I haven't a clue.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

Work. More work.

Yeah, I'm always the life of the party.

We have enough youth. How about looking for the Fountain of Smart?

Sculling on the James River, with our new best coxswain, ... my dog.
Studying I suppose. Dodgy
Going home, and doing nothing for a month, except being a beach bum.
Teaching my little bro to surf. Dude was born with autism. He's really "coming out" of it. It's so cool to watch him start to bloom, and grow.

RE: Your Summertime plans?
My kids go to camp for a month starting the 29th. Other than work, I plan to have sex with my wife in every room in the house with out fear of children waking in on us.

Oh, and we are doing a cruise with my folks and my sister and her family the end of August. But, I'm not nearly as excited about that as I am about a whole month with no children.

If you're bored, and/or looking for something interesting to do, get on the edX mailing list. Lot's of interesting new courses this Summer, I see.

I took same two kids to Houston for Warped Tour
Spent a week in South Walton Beach, FL
Son is in band camp right now
Girls are in TX working at a camp

RE: Your Summertime plans?
I forgot to mention, selling our house and moving across town. Preferably in that order, otherwise it means I'm moving into a rental so I can get the kids enrolled in school before the house sells, which means there will be another move when the house eventually does sell…

The good news…I have found a rental, for lower than I expected, in the neighborhood that we are hoping to buy in as soon as our house sells. So either way, I can get the kids settled, even though their beds might shuffle a couple times.

sigh.
