Your opinion on "Bahá'í Faith" sect of Islam
Although it got persucated, i don't know if they still are.

You can say it is for uniting the world, but here is a wall of text if you wish to know about the teachings, which you can also find on wikipedia.

Incase you don't wish to read, then here is a video Smile

The independent search after truth, unfettered by superstition or tradition; the oneness of the entire human race, the pivotal principle and fundamental doctrine of the Faith; the basic unity of all religions; the condemnation of all forms of prejudice, whether religious, racial, class or national;

the harmony which must exist between religion and science; the equality of men and women, the two wings on which the bird of human kind is able to soar; the introduction of compulsory education; the adoption of a universal auxiliary language; the abolition of the extremes of wealth and poverty; the institution of a world tribunal for the adjudication of disputes between nations;

the exaltation of work, performed in the spirit of service, to the rank of worship; the glorification of justice as the ruling principle in human society, and of religion as a bulwark for the protection of all peoples and nations; and the establishment of a permanent and universal peace as the supreme goal of all mankind—these stand out as the essential elements [which Bahá'u'lláh proclaimed].[30]

So, what do you think Smile

It is not a sect of Islam, it is a separate religion.

Only Islamic wackos think it is an Islamic apostasy. But they are wackos.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

Well its a sect of Islam and most of the Jewish community believes in the old testament and isn't that still a part of Christianity ?

Its just like how Sikhs don't believe in hindu Gods even though all the Sikh leaders themselves believed in hindu Gods,its just separatism for the sake of it.

RE: Your opinion on "Bahá'í Faith" sect of Islam
It grew out of Islam, as much as anything, but since they don't recognize Mohammed as the last prophet, nor see him as uniquely inspired as a prophet, I'm pretty sure you couldn't call them Islamic in any way.

Judaism is one of the sources for Christianity, sure, but they have fundamentally contradictory views on the nature of god and god's interaction with people. Same deal. Baha'i are less Muslim than Mormons are Christian, to throw out that comparison.

Meh. It is my favourite religion. For what that's worth.

... this is my signature!

No to your statements. Judaism isn't part of Christianity, and Baha'i isn't part of Islam.

The funny thing is there was no other prophet of Islam so idk why they consider Muhammad to be the "last prophet".

Well anything that promotes social equality and rationality has my vote.
