Youtube joins the 1984 cosplay club
Well, I took them a long time to shed their flase hide, but Youtube has started censoring video they don't like.

Example 1:
I don't care if you hate or love the Amazing Atheist, but about a tenfold of his videos has been removed for "inappropriate content". None of these videos had the common reason for removal; pornographic content or extreme "real" violence. One would think that insults are still legal to do over a video on YT. Well, not anymore.
TJ's own video on it:

Example 2:
This might be a bit under the radar, but there is a war going on between Youtubes resident nutcase and sadisic bastard Onison, and another user called Someguy827. Another conflict started between Onison and him, and it pretty much caused Someguy to make a video where he insulted Onison back to the stoneage. One day later, the video was removed for "inappropriate content" aswell. In other words, it's okay to flag and remove videos from a user that has 5000 subscribers and makes a few rants now and then, but it's not possible to remove videos from a sick obessive bastard that insults minority groups, but, has a bunch of subscribers that help youtube get more publicity. Yeah, I'm no smartass, but even I can see who's giving the blowjobs around here.
Someguy827's own video on it:

Well, at least they haven't removed their new themesong yet...

I am disappoint.

Nothing new.
Thunderf00t had this happen before as well, at least a year ago.

Aspiring optimist
Eternal Pragmatist.
With the uncanny ability to see all sides in every argument.

It's not so much Youtube deciding to remove videos they don't like so much as having a system that lacks any kind of review process, which is open to abuse. Creationists and Atheism+ folk either employ a spambot or manually flag videos of people they don't like, and then Youtube removes the videos for non-existent TOS violations without actually seeing if the complaints have any merit to them. It's ideologically motivated censorship, where Youtube is too lazy to do anything about it because it doesn't affect their revenue (since it's not Vevo being spammed).

If something can be destroyed by the truth, it might be worth destroying.

Is not youtube, it's The Algorithm. People flag the videos as inappropriate because they don't like it, The Algorithm takes them down. Youtube is powerless against it, because it's its life source Sad

Big Brother is not a person, nor a group of people, is an algorithm Tongue
