Google defines Parody as :"an imitation of the style of a particular writer, artist, or genre with deliberate exaggeration for comic effect."

Mockery: "an absurd misrepresentation or imitation of something"

I get 60,500 on google. I also get 583,000 for the words "Buttered Toast" and 87,200,000 for "Santa Claus" . I'm not sure the number of hits something gets is a good indication of how reliable it is.

I guess poster just saw in my post what she wanted to see and it resulted in some childish attempt at proving that she is "more right".

This number game make some sense only in it's context - that is as answer directed at me and what I said about fine tuning and multiverse.

For once the atheist here majorly seem to me overly aggressive as I have never ever seen a theist using foul language against me.

Nope. It's not aggression as such. It's simply trying—with increasing difficulty it would seem—to engage in some sort of two-way dialogue with a person doggedly resisting all attempts to, at the very least, encourage them to think outside the square. And with someone, whilst claiming to be an agnostic, and who would appear from the content of their comments to be a weak theist.

And considering that until recently(?) Lara, you've been a practising Christian(?) and even now so obviously favour theism in your alleged agnosticism, I'm not surprised in the least that you've never heard a theist "use such foul language" against you.

Don't dare to tell ME what I know or don't know!

I'm also bemused that you cite the fact that there's "so few" theists on this forum. In case you hadn't noticed, it is actually an atheist-orientated site, which is possibly made a little more obvious to most people by its title of The Thinking Atheist! And I really don't see what you hoped to gain in your investigation of atheists/atheism by your determination to post such deliberately inflammatory, confrontational, and contumelious(!) comments.

I'm a creationist... I believe that man created God.

while I am an agnostic and live together with a lovely atheist I frankly do not get along with the more extreme styles of atheism and that atheist that just can not resist the adhominem attack.

As I am really annoyed now I have created a science parody about the multiverse. I put it here for quritique but remember in the end it s a parody not a scientific undertaking.

The simplest multiverse

The simplest multiverse is a variation of the multiverse theory. In ackordance with Ockhams razor I stripped everything out of the theory that is not really necessary to explain the universe we see. The first thing which had to go where all known natural laws - because you have to addmitt it - they convolute the thing a bit.

I instead replaced them with two meta rules:

1. There are infinite universes with infinite branching universes and hence infinite reality lines.

2. There is a random generator that creates and destroys matter at random places in all of this infinite universes.

In all of this infinite universes the random generator will create by pure chance universes that look like universes that have sprung from natural law - although they are vastly outnumbered by universes which look like a big soup of matter.

How does a movement look in such a universe if there is for example no law of gravity?

A falling object would not be a falling object - it would be an object that is destroyed and a bit lower recreated by chance again and again - you just need to be all the time in the right reality lines to misinterprete this as a movement.

There are no fields by the way. We never measured them directly, we only measured their interaction with matter.

Now as all of this is mathematically much simpler to describe than current theories of the universe according to Ockhams razor it is the simpler and hence more likely theory of how our universe comes about.

As I figured out so fare you now have three options what to do:

1. In honour of Ockham you accept the simplest universe theory as the leading t.o.e.Weeping

2. You forget about Ockhams razor. This would open the discussion again for other explanations that are to complex to but into simple equations such as god.

3. You safe Ockhams razor but throw out the multiverse. Remember that this re-opens the discussion about the fine tuning of the universe again as the multiverse is the by fare best argument against it.

This is a peace of art Smile and hence coyprighted.

I'm going to assume since the op posted the exact same thing on a different Christian forum, they're confused. It does make me question a bit their intent for being here.

And to OP. All atheism means is a lack of belief in a deity(s).

Strangely enough, I don't recall seeing much moral outrage at those instances. Actually, the OFFENDED parties were basically told to get over it and not be such snowflakes. I guess all the holier-than-thou moral outrage is only reserved for some Drinking Beverage

Feel free to move this comment to wherever it will offend the least amount of the self-righteous among us.The amount of hypocrisy though is mind-blowing.

"Please review".

I guess that really meant "Only say nice things, even though it's BS, and if you don't, the resultant whining will be unparalleled, and on top of that I have a disability, so only "nice comments" are permitted.

Insufferable know-it-all.Einstein God has a plan for us. Please stop screwing it up with your prayers.
