dr John Sanford.
I've been asked to respond to this... http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GwCu4rh7kUk

I see no scientific merit here, but then I teach psychology not philanthropy or biology.

Why have you been asked to respond to this? What is the context?

You are teaching psychology? What does this have to do with it?

RE: dr John Sanford.
In a thread that you made earlier today, you posted the same link, saying that you're teaching evolution and that one of your students sent you this video. Now you're saying that you're not a biology teacher and teach psychology instead.

So, which one is it?

RE: dr John Sanford.
Sanford is one of the many nut job creationists. He has a PhD in PLANT genetics, and he can't personally imagine how something as complex as DNA could "randomly" happen. The thing is, it was not "random", once the process had begun. There are hundreds of articles, (if not thousands) debunking the design needed by complexity baloney. It's just the same old same old "complexity proves design" argument. It's bullshit. It's basically : The Anthropic Principle + God of the Gaps + Bible Ignorance + Ignorance of ALL the Earth Sciences + Wishful Thinking => Viola !!! Out pops the Christian god. Fancy that. Jesus H. Christ. All it proves is, you can have a PhD in Plants, and STILL not get what reality is all about. The least they could do, is find an original god. Why is it, when they have their emotional melt-down when their marriages are in trouble, (which is when this one "converted"), they all run to this religion, which just happens to be the only one they ever heard about. I don't believe a word you say. You are clearly not a teacher, your spelling, grammar, capitalization, etc. leave a lot to be desired. Give it a rest, anybody teaching at a higher level as you claim would have much better formatting in their writing.

You said in another thread that you teach evolution, and now you are saying that you teach psychology...

That's not a duplicate thread.

Here he teaches psychology, there he teaches evolution.
