essential oils as medicine
[Image: slide06_1_550x334.jpg]

a small town church near me has been caught up in selling these "living Young" oils as alternative medicine. Mostly taking "raindrops" of oil on different parts of the body or mixing with water.
I can't seem to finding any real evidence supporting any of the claims made.
It worries me as I've seen some use this over real medicine.

Seems to be nothing more then homeopathic type in small doses but if over used can be dangerous.

Is this stuff being prescribed by actual medical doctors? If not then I'm going to call it snakeoil.

Nope not by medical doctors at all. its sold using "multi level marketing".
Gary Young who founded the company has been in trouble several times making bogus claims.

Yeah, wanted to post this sometime back. Saw a Facebook post about it being used to help with the flu.

I suppose part of the sales pitch is the conspiracy theory that this stuff is great and really works but big pharma is keeping a lid on it.
