genetic archaelogy
I"d like your take on the following, Legit or not:

Egypt>
http://www.igenea.com/en/tutankhamun
http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/08/0...5P20110801 Aug 1 (Reuters Life!) - Up to 70 percent of British men and half of all Western European men are related to the Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun, geneticists in Switzerland said.

China>
http://mbe.oxfordjournals.org/content/17/9/1396.full
Inconsistent with the geographical distribution, the 2,500-year-old Linzi population showed greater genetic similarity to present-day European populations than to present-day east Asian populations. The 2,000-year-old Linzi population had features that were intermediate between the present-day European/2,500-year-old Linzi populations and the present-day east Asian populations.

I mention these ones because there is genetic science involved, although why aren't there more tests, why isn't there more news? Why don't they release the Y chromosome?

Those are the main ones but I have other curiosities, including the Solutrean hypothesis/Ice age columbus
http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/ice-age-c...americans/
and possible prehistoric connection between canary islanders and the Americas. I understand Thor Heyerdahl made a successful boat journey. If you have any leads or nuggets of information on these, do share. I want to know of the legitimacy, and why or why not, in layman's terms. thx.

RE: genetic archaelogy
Some fun information: "Mathematically speaking, everyone in Europe is related to Charlemagne. This is because everyone has two parents, four grandparents, eight great-grandparents and so on. By the time you get to the 13th century, you have more direct ancestors than have ever been human beings - about 80 billion. Therefore you must have shared ancestors."

RE: genetic archaelogy
Lineage X- Native Americans- Amerinds possess a shared Lineage X in the mitochondrial DNA with western europeans, not shared by Asians, going back 15,000 years according to the molecular clock study.
