giddy loser
Language is fun, and german is a beautiful language. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. It is parent or rather brother/sister to English.

In german, Loser, that is technically Löser is not a bad thing but a good thing- a releaser, parter, solver. Lösen means to release, to part or to solve. What I mean is losers are people who are breaking the bonds and binds of a situation or a culture or community. That's good news, because I'm a big loser. I am loosening. that's where we get the word loose. I am a looser- on a deep psychic level. So were many others- even if they were criminals or wackos- sometimes it's what it takes. Even if they were weird. By the way, weird really means futuristic- that's how it was used in shakepseare- the "Weird sisters" of MacBeth (I think) were the witches. Weird comes from werden in german (or rather from a common source), which means to be or to become (and also the modal verb for future tense corresponding to 'will' in english, but in german, will means want (intensely), as a verb.

But I am giddy from all of this. Here's what made me post on this board. From etymonline.com giddy (adj.) Look up giddy at Dictionary.com
Old English gidig, variant of gydig "insane, mad, stupid, possessed (by a spirit)," probably from Proto-Germanic *gud-iga-, from *gudam "god" + *-ig "possessed." Meaning "having a confused, swimming sensation" is from 1560s. Meaning "elated" is from 1540s. Related: Giddily; giddiness.

Possessed by a spirit- that is a god. the religious people are giddy. that makes so much sense. What inspired me towards this idea of giddyness is reading the great Nietzsche- Also Sprach Zarathustra. Sometimes I am giddy when i desire not to be, because I feel I'm cheating myself out of what I could take or get or earn. And in fact I was self-arrested when i read english and german translations of zarathustra back to back, and I found out they translate giddy as schwindelnd, or something of that root- I can't remember. german english dictionary http://dict.tu-chemnitz.de/ says it's Schwindel erregen- that means move to a swindel.

Yeah giddyness is what means we're being swindled, cheated! Notice how the powerful in this world have no sense of humor- at least not when dealing with or facing their charges, their underlings. Does the IRS have a sense of humor or irony? The EEOC? The ADL? Ellie Wiesel or Simon Wiesenthal? The department of homeland security or the CIA or FBI or Barack Obama? Have I ever seen any one fo them giddy or godd-ey? No, not that I can recall, never. I see differences between races and genders and demographics that are genetic and that are socially constructed and in fact those who were my enemies or competitors I actually have much to learn from in terms of mode of operation, even moreso than those who are my so called friends, or are supposed to have my back. Whose got your back? Nobody's got my back. I've got my own back. Essentially, the IRS and the Gov and the courts and so on have their own value systems and ideologies- even if they deny this fact or call these values Natural Law or something to that effect, calling them universal. Above these values is their morality, and I won't even say they enforce their values universally, because they make exceptions, unconsciously or consciously, and these have the force of law, policy, protocol and authority generally and they are not my values, but I have to live under them and watch them progress and be 'progressive' and I'm made to seem uncool if I don't accept them, but I have decided that coolness itself is a value I don't subscribe to, it is a canard or a red herring. Trying hard to be cool has gotten me nowhere. Working hard and learning to be functional and able to do things and perform tasks has gotten me everywhere, along with learning how to make myself my own number one charity- to be selfish as nietzsche describes. Selfish people can and should have virtues, or one over-riding virtue- that is not contradictory. We are not to be paid for our virtues however. Virtue is not it's own reward. What, you want to be paid for your virtue? Was a mother ever paid for her love? The concept of cool was if not originated (which probably goes back to the dawn of time) at least in America and the modern world promoted and developed by entities like Music Television (MTV) and National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and later Hip Hop music artists. I will not compete with them who I am not even impressed by, least of all using their own standards and means. There are powerful organizations and entities which cannot be ignored, but there are also types of power whose power comes solely from our paying attention to them, and when we ignore them and cast them from our heads and consciousness, they lose their power, or else they adapt and accommodate, to us. The news and entertainment media is an example of the later. When we pay them attention they receive our attention- access to our heads, and they grow wealthy at our expense. And we are liars to ourselves, we say we desire things but our desires grow weak in the rarefied heights it takes necessary to achieve a thing. We become pacified or indifferent, refusing to compete. When the first frustrations develop, we find excuses to become distracted, and we become tense in the body. Whatever happened to our sexuality? How is it being expressed? in the marriage bed? Through polygamy or casual dating? Through tantra with a partner? Through masturbation and pornographic viewing? through hobbies and work and transmutation or physical activities like fighting and physical labor? Are we angry at the world? if so, because of what we lack? Because of alleged promises having been broken? Because we feel entitled but haven't received? Because we feel provoked? Because we know we are at fault but want to blame others? How clear is our head? Can we perceive the real world beyond the ideal? Hint- this real world access is available to the smallest child- it does not require an outstanding education. Do we try to be good or nice to buy people's good opinion (bribe them?). Do we lust for revenge or do we merely want to accomplish our purpose? What psychological issues do we have kinking up the flow our our energies and a true perception of the world? Do we have a busy life schedule, that is productive yet balanced? Are we properly leveraged- not too much that we become insolvent, and not too little that we become underutilized?

Are we able to express ourselves spontaneously in the moment as necessary? Do we pity or feel shame or can we defend ourselves against these affects and these people, these bringers down, these tarantulas of the spirit?

Yeah!! Viking is back Smile
I'm glad there are no Misogynistic rape justification ramblings in this post (at least I think there isn't, maybe I didn't read far down enough),

Summarize all that down to a 1/4, or very few people will read your post Viking.
You lost me at linking Giddy with swindle.

Yeah, but the problem here is that it's an entirely different word.

I agree that German is a wonderful language, though. I work as a German translator.

I didn't get any further than that because wall of text.
