hello from Houston.
Hi all.

I'm Darryl, and I'm an agnostic atheist in Houston, Texas. I'm also really liberal, so that makes me a double minority.

I need a new forum to frequent and since I'm a fan of the podcast, I thought I'd give this one a try.

Hi , welcome to the forum , and sorry for accusing you of being a bot.

When you say you're a liberal are you referring to social or economic ? - just curious.

Atheism is a religion like OFF is a TV channel !!!

Thanks for the welcome.

And no hard feelings. Breaking into online communities is rough anywhere, but I definitely expect skepticism here.

To answer your question, I'm definitely socially liberal; there isn't any question abou that. I would never pretend to understand economics well enough to make articulate, hardcore stands on a particular issue, but I do tend to favor liberal explanations for economic issues over more conservative ones.

Cool,

Glad to have you on board.
I'm a social liberal myself.
As for economics , I only asked because I did come up in a few threads and it's on my minds.
Make yourself at home Wink

RE: hello from Houston.
Are there many social conservatives here? I wouldn't imagine so.

Welcome to TTAF!

Hello! From...well hell, I don't know where this is since they duck taped me into this box.
Anyway, welcome to the forum. [Image: 5.gif]

We already said "no" to the air holes. What in the heck makes you think we'll give you a flashlight?

Optimism?

Since I have buck teeth I made my own air holes tank you berry mush.
I hoped for a flashlight so as to prolong illumination since, sooner or later, this lighter is going to run out and the days of lighting the gasses from this kitten, are going to be over.

Then it's just me and things that go; Oh hell, what's that smell? In the dark.

RE: hello from Houston.
Welcome! We're sort of neighbors. Nice to see another from Texas around. Smile

My reason for being is to serve as a cat cushion. That is good enough for me. Wink
