how do I hate television...
So... I'm paging through all the crap on Netflix, and this picture keeps popping up:

Yeah, she's gorgeous, but ABC Family? Eventually the gorgeous bit won out and I checked it... and it's so totally Buffy! I watch seven episodes yesterday and today, then what happens? Find out it got cancelled.  Fuck TV. And ABC Family. And especially Disney, which is just made of suck.

My thoughts are usually like this: "If I like it, it's going to be cancelled." Time after time. Stargate Universe, Defying Gravity, Frisky Dingo, Outcasts, Survivors...pretty much everything.

Let me count the ways. So much crap. 20 years from now, there will be no such thing. Everything we watch will be on-line, hooked up to large screens. All productions will be available in a cafeteria of single choices. No more cable packages. TV will either adapt, or go the way of the land-line telephone companies. Insufferable know-it-all.  Apocalypse : pretty soon / Apprentice woologist in training.

I stopped watching TV ages ago just because it seemed like everything I liked got cancelled. The last thing I cared about, really, was Fringe. This is its last season. Meh...

I don't actually have television - I see stuff from DVD or internet.
Just see Qi. - I see it at quite1nteresting channel on YouTube - He even got the pilot somehow. You can watch all the back ones from A through I - that should take a while. Then, you'll have 17 years more to go.  The only US show I have left that I watch is Weeds. I'm ok with it being done now... but I guess it's still going strong. I still haven't seen last season yet. I just finished the last bit of House ... which I'll miss, but all good things must end.

Yup, me too. There is a television in the apartment but only used by the girls for "keep fit" dvds.
