the night sky and it's irony{metal or kawaii}
I just had this odd thought. a lot of people look into the night sky for it's beauty. that beauty though is kind of a misnomer. for example people star gaze. they look trough these telescopes to see such beauty as giant atomic fire balls in the sky that have probably 100 times the energy the energy than a Hiroshima bomb explosion. kind of ironic isn't it. these big balls of nuclear fire at a distance look pretty beautiful. so I got to questions. one do you see them same irony in the night sky that I do. and on a scale of 1{kawaii as hello kitty} to 10{more metal than metalica}... where does the night sky.

THE SKIES WITH 'WOVEN' ORBITS
"By heaven furnished with paths;" (Surat adh-Dhariyat, 7)
The Arabic word "alhubuki," translated as "furnished with paths" in verse 7 of Surat adh-Dhariyat, comes from the verb "hubeke," meaning "to weave closely, to knit, to bind together." The use of this word in the verse is particularly wise and represents the current state of scientific knowledge in two aspects.

The first is this: The orbits and paths in the universe are so dense and intertwined that they constitute intersecting paths, just like the threads in a piece of fabric. The Solar System we live in is made up of the Sun, the planets and their satellites and heavenly objects in constant motion such as meteors and .....

Yay! Post-hoc rationalizations to make ancient scriptures match modern science!

Just like cowbell, you're going to want more cowbell!

Blessed be Mo, (peas and carrots be upon him).
The Quran is SO inspirational and informative. Laugh out load

Quran 18:83-86—And they ask you about Dhul-Qarnain. Say: “I shall recite to you something of his story.” Verily, We established him in the earth, and We gave him the means of everything. So he followed a way. Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water. And he found near it a people.

Sunan Abu Dawud 3991—Abu Dharr said: I was sitting behind the Apostle of Allah who was riding a donkey while the sun was setting. He asked: Do you know where this sets? I replied: Allah and his Apostle know best. He said: It sets in a spring of warm water.

Isn't that WONDEFUL.
Dodgy

Insufferable know-it-all.Einstein God has a plan for us. Please stop screwing it up with your prayers.

Yeah, and you're kinda leaving out the fact that orbits are NOT "furnished with paths" that fit any sort of description like "to weave closely, to knit, to bind together."

That makes your next proposition, "The orbits and paths in the universe are so dense and intertwined that they constitute intersecting paths, just like the threads in a piece of fabric" absolute and utter bullshit.

The universe is the opposite of dense. It's vastly spread out, to a degree that baffles the mind to even consider. It takes light from the sun 8+ minutes to even reach us, and we're one of the closest planets. The nearest star is four years away at the speed of light.

And even with all that, the universe (and our Solar system) is full of collisions, and near-misses, and pretty much every other degree of chaos imaginable. The only reason we even travel in the same direction [edit: as the other planets] is that the planets formed out of the accretion disc, spinning around the gas cloud that would become our sun... and even with that, they are pock-marked with the scars of collisions because their orbits are not regular in any sense other than "periodical". Our own moon is here because a rogue planetoid smashed into the early earth, taking part of the earth with it, and re-forming as a satellite.

After-the-fact rationalization of a vague verse is bad enough... when that vague verse says pretty much the exact opposite of what we've learned since the invention of the telescope, it just shows us how ignorant the writers of the scriptures really were.

Thanks for reminding us of that.
