my stealthy freedom facebook page
I just started following this page on facebook

https://www.facebook.com/StealthyFreedom?fref=nf

its Iranian women posting photo's of themselves without their hijabs. Most are taken in remote places, many don't show their faces, but today a woman posted a video walking down part of city street.

I love seeing the courage, I love seeing the messages from around the world showing support. I love seeing the posts from the women saying how free they feel when they remove it and love feeling the wind blow their hair.

I think its a first, small, one of many, steps in breaking down the barriers.

check it out if you have time. If you are on twitter, I think its #My Stealthy Freedom

This truly admirable.

When you see them like this, you kind of realize that they are everyday, normal women that could be living next door, unlike the image the hijab gives of a religious, god-fearing woman.

It's awesome that most of them have their husbands supporting them in it! That's a great step towards a -seemingly unreachable- change.

Thanks for sharing!

The women are very courageous considering they could end up in prison if caught by the religious police. Fair play to them.
