Brandon, No J. has offered some pretty good insights into the path your life can take. When I was in high school (back in the stone ages), I kept my atheism to myself, and so didn't have to deal with the ugliness you've encountered. I admire your courage at such a young age, and you should know that there are many, many people with whom you can share your thoughts who will respect your point of view, even if they disagree with something. I think you're going to learn to enjoy your newly-found freedom from superstition and ignorance - the whole universe awaits your rational investigation, free of dogma and artificial boundaries on what is open for discussion. Unfold your wings and fly!!
