RE: my wife's doctor called
My aunt has had four brain surgeries and still going strong. We're getting pretty good at these things now. I've seen the progress from the first surgery, where they opened her skull, to the last two, where they snaked equipment through an artery in her leg, all the way up to her head... These situations can be seen more optimistically than ever before. Hoping for the best

Vibes and good luck.

Write down any questions you have and make sure that the doctor answers them before they leave the room. Doctors like to throw all their info at you and then leave. Make sure you're understanding everything and agree with it.

Also make them write down the exact diagnosis and look it up on the net. If it is malignant, ACOR has message boards and such that are a great resource.

Hopefully all will be well. Be strong.

Treatable or not, that's a lot of stress to deal with. Hope it all works out ok for you both.
