I feel your pain. I've been depressed for a long time, and I don't enjoy anything very much. Sometimes I don't enjoy things at all, I'm just staving off madness. I find my purpose in helping others, it's all I can do to get through.

If it is depression or something similar, it isn't always situational. Sometimes someone with a "perfect life" can be terribly depressed. It's not as simple as that. And it's not your fault.

One thing I hold onto from my therapy: "Things won't be this way forever." Things always change. Depression can make it feel like they never will. But they do, in often unpredictable ways. All you can do is battle on, seek the best help, and keep talking to people.

I have a website here which discusses the issues and terminology surrounding religion and atheism. It's hopefully user friendly to all.
