RE: plastic persona
I think I'd change my shyness. I've missed out on a lot of things in life because I was so shy.

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

I'm working on the things I want to change myself.

One of the great things about the human brain is its plasticity-- its ability to rewire itself. Conscious control of that process is vital to changing embedded thought processes.

I need to change, but people should be happy the way they are.

As I wrote in a lyric once:

You don't want to feel too satisfied
or lose the edge that makes you alive
but you're fooling yourself, and that's for sure
when you're looking for problems but no cure.

RE: plastic persona
If they learned to do that, they might could permanently fix some mental disorders. Depression, bipolar, various schizo disorders, and psychotic episodes would be more understood and possibly correctable.
