short introduction
Hello!
I've started listening to podcasts few years ago. I'm 23 years old living in Poland. Connecting with other atheist in real life isn't easy, so I decided to join this community.

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Hah! Just saw this tonight and I just took it off my sig.

I dunno, I just liked the quote. The blues is metaphor for a lot of things in life. Not just metaphor, sometimes just straight observation. But it's taking what moves us in everyday shit and turning it into something that makes you feel good, or at least feel. If you don't have that ability, you're done. If you don't have the blues, you gotta be dead......just my immediate reaction to the question.

Here it is:
"When you are through with the blues, you've got nothing to rest on."
Mahalia Jackson

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
