The beginning of what?

Birds?

Yes. Birds are descendants of dinosaurs so they were there back at the beginning.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

Another one dipping his toes into the calderon?

Define "beginning"

Define "word"

“I am quite sure now that often, very often, in matters concerning religion and politics a man’s reasoning powers are not above the monkey’s.”~Mark Twain
“Ocean: A body of water occupying about two-thirds of a world made for man - who has no gills.”~ Ambrose Bierce

Really? Is this how you're going to introduce your arguments on this forum? Have some self-respect and post something intelligible and well constructed.

This isn't kindergarten and fools aren't suffered not just gladly but not at all around here. Try and compose a coherent statement that engages and is worthy of discussion would you?

RE: Ask a Theist!
I can guarantee you that any "word" is a very recent characteristic of the history of this planet.

If you are refering to the silly bible verse, . . . provide proof of your claim, theword.

I am not introducing an argument. Chas introduced the argument when he posted "No, it wasn't"... So where is the well constructed composition behind his claim?

My claim had precisely the same "well constructed composition" as yours - none.

But I am not the one making the unsubstantiated claim; I do not have the burden of proof. You do.

Also, note the title of the thread, i.e. "Ask a Theist!". You did not ask a question.

I am not trying to prove anything.
I am just stating that in the beginning was the Word.
You also say "you did not ask a question,"..... No, I did not.

So then.....what exactly is your point?

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
