If you ever were a scientist, you are not one any longer. Now you are more of a sad climate denial troll

60 years of anecdotes.

You forgot one important point. I am also a nutrition denial troll.

Here is your dilemma, the same one my sisters have. In order to support the carbon dioxide fear mongering from government science, you have to support the fear mongering about saccharine and saturated animal fat as well. To mock, ridicule and laugh at the latter two presents a real problem.

This is the source of the name calling, virtually non-existent before World War II. Well, Edison did say some mean things about that idiot Westinghouse.

60 years worth of anecdotes and still no rebuttal or refutation of the science behind climate change and the anthropogenic influence. That isn't the response of a scientist, it's the response of a close-minded fool.

You should leave your politics at home if you want to engage in a conversation on science. Another good indicator that you're a shite scientist if one at all

I forgot the major reason for my skepticism. The words and phrases used to describe the Crichtons and Happers of the world is really the only reason I need to conclude that climate science has nothing to do with science. It is the only logical conclusion. How would I conclude otherwise?

The fact that the words are used by self described atheists, skeptics, rationalists and free thinkers make it too funny. You have to see humor in all this. I know many here do not appreciate my laughter, but what other response would you suggest after being called a _________?

Remember, the Crichtons and Happers of biochemistry were dismissed by the science establishment in the 1970s. The fear mongers won. Simple. Secular religion. History. It is all there. Try Google. How do thinking atheists forget about this? Or ignore it?

It is fascinating that this recent history has no influence on those who say that they love and respect science. What would you say to these nutrition skeptics today? Science by Congress is great stuff? You were just a little confused? You really did not have a grasp of the importance of plant food in the human diet? Have you ever heard of the Holocaust?

Remember another thing. When I expressed skepticism of the saccharine study while with the National Cancer Institute in the 1970s, what I heard was just so beautiful. Poignant really. “We are not going to rock the boat”. It made me so proud to be a scientist. I got the Hell out of there (sorry for the H word). It is funny. The only other alternative is to be pissed. I go with laughter.

Just another anecdote. Jesus.

Science fails when adopting a creed. That is so good.

Is that a real scientist, or is that a Sears poncho.

I really do think Walter is just trolling us. He simply repeats the same points to avoid engaging in any real discussion. Standard troll stuff.

My apologies. Moving too fast this morning and did not see the split.

As a non-voting minimalist, anarchist, individualist, anti-authoritarian capitalist (well, I have owned and operated my own analytical lab for 23 years, so there you go) with no religious affiliation, I am not sure what you are getting at.

What I can tell you is that the editors of Rolling Stone supported Sanders, the socialist. They also have had multiple headlines on their covers warning about the runaway warming of the planet. Readers, we are doomed. And it is our fault. Now, is this just coincidence? Or are the two connected?

Some of you might think that I am pretty cool because I read Rolling Stone. No, I just see the covers on someone else’s magazine. But, I did copy the article about Trump, the narcissist, to send to my brother.

My socialist sisters, lovers of pig fat by the way (screw science, what do they know?), also think we are doomed. And one blames a certain gender of the human species. Not sure which. They are not scientists, but what the Hell. They have it right. Right?

Does this surprise you at all? It does not surprise me, or my fellow anarchist brother, one bit.

Science fails when adopting a creed. I just love this.

Repeating your vomit all over the forum doesn't make it any truer or less ridiculous.

And how badass! An anarchist, sitting in his comfy home (or basement anyway), enjoying his security and plumbing and all those nasty, nasty things that an organised society brings.

You're all pathetic. To the very last one of you. What utter fuckwits Facepalm

It is fascinating how my skepticism generates so much anguish. In other skeptics.

Think of it this way. We are skeptical about the same things, except two.

Anthropogenic Global Warming and Bill Nye.
