I'm still waiting on you to affirm that;
a) We are talking about the Resurrection of a historical person.
b) That resurrections require the involvement of a divine/supernatural power.
c) That you dont want to debate someone you think is a troll with an IQ of 5 (That wouldnt be much to brag about right?)

The atheist is a man who destroys the imaginary things which afflict the human race, and so leads men back to nature, to experience and to reason.

A) Biblical Jesus and Historical Jesus might be two different people. You can't say that Jesus Turned water into wine historically. I believe there was a man behind the myth. Whether or not he could actually do miracles is NOT historically proven, nor is it even logically inferential.

B)Resurrections don't require a divine/ supernatural power. Doctors do Revive people who's heart has stopped. I will concede that supernatural power probably COULD bring a person back.

C) I concede.

In the meantime, watch this while the debate has yet to start.

Assertion # 1
'''...grossly overblown myth."
Citation please.

Step One: Find a figurehead.

Step Two: Write things about it which are absurd. (Remember the old adage: The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it.)

Step Three: Wait for future people to add to the lie, grossly over blowing it further.

Step Four: ???

Step Five: Religion (Profit).

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

This isn't a get-rich-quick scheme. This took a long time to get to where it is today.

You have a valid point.

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

It's still just an unsubstantiated claim.
What additional information do you have to share which shows that the actual historical person did NOT do what the allegedly overblown myth (bible) states about Him?
In order to claim that a story is exagerated, you need to know the ACTUAL story for comparison.

One can reasonably assume he probably did not do miracles. Drinking Beverage Do you believe in stuff until there is evidence to disprove it? I don't believe in it unless there is evidence for it. I do not believe in the miracles because there isn't evidence for it. One can reasonably assume that if there was a historical base to Jesus, than the story of him in the Bible, as described, is an exaggeration. There is no need to know exactly what the story is if you assume the miracles didn't happen.

The real question is what evidence do you have to base your claims so that they can carry some sort of weight. So far I haven't seen any.
