starting my own belief system?
I want to deter from just being an atheist, so that when people ask me what I am I can tell them a bit more, since atheists don't have set standard for living or anything like that (not saying that is a bad thing).

The belief system I am starting is called "Brohism", the leaders of the "Brosques" (Brohist place of gathering) will be known as "Broha" (or "Brohin" plural). In my book (not yet published or produced but fully written), Bro: Basic Requirements Of..., I divide different parables and moral guides in different books (similar to the Bible). They are as follows:

The Book of Brohenisis (How to be a Brohist)
The Book of Duderonomy (The Guy Code)
The Book of Members (The Family Code)
The Book of Masochist (The Tolerance Code)
The Book of Jokes (for when you are at a party and just BOMBING it)
The Book of Jobs (things to do when you are bored)
The Book of Elastics (the personal guide to stretchy things)

Example passage
Jokes 1:1 - Knock knock

Does this seem like a feasible endeavor?

RE: starting my own belief system?
Well I'd rather have a few people on board before I set up a website or anything like that.

Is that really so bad?

Although alternative to telling people I'm an atheist, I have admitted to many that I am a devout Pastafarian Big Grin

These aren't rules as much as guide lines.

It IS swag to eat ice cream in the cold, but we do not suggest you do it because it could get you a maaaaaassive brain freeze

RE: starting my own belief system?
I prefer my ice cream in winter time, but since I won't be stoned to death for doing so, I'm in.

Correct me when I'm wrong.
Accept me or go to hell.
