I find it sad this is a "thing" at all.

I'm reminded of a really close friend who wrote on facebook that she knows what to say to get a good grade, but her faith in god would not be shaken....

I am paraphrasing badly but that was the thrust. She's smart, well spoken, but just turns off her mind in favor of what she "believes" and I find it disturbing and sad. I also find it a bit disingenuous because she answered the questions the correctly so she wouldn't harm her GPA. I guess her GP'A is an important as her belief in god. Or something like that.


But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces
