Ugh. This is really starting to suck. And it's not even our hottest month yet. Sadcryface
Several apartment complexes closed their swimming pools starting yesterday because they don't want to handle the possibility that people might get heatstroke. Undecided
I think People might be over reacting... they are just not making sense... I think the heat has gotten to them.

Sorry. Can't relate.
Now if you want to talk about clouds, coffee and rain, I'm your huckleberry.

It was just a fucking apple man, we're sorry okay? Please stop the madness Laugh out load

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH FOOD MARKETING PEOPLE? I JUST SAW LACTOSE FREE MILK CONTAINING THE PHRASE "GLUTEN FREE" WTF?? SINCE WHEN DOES COWS MILK CONTAIN BARLEY OR WHEAT? FUCKING IDIOTS.

IT'S ALMOST AS BAD AS SELLING A LUMP OF SUGAR AS "100% FAT FREE" (I'VE SEEN THIS ON A PACK OF MARSHMALLOWS).

FUCK!!!

THESE FOOD MARKETING PEOPLE WILL MAKE MY HEAD EXPLODE!

But it's a dry heat.

But it's a dry heat.

True -once it gets over 104 or so, the humidity usually burns off. I say usually, because ... well... it's Kansas. There are times here on a sunny Summer day the temperature is 96, the humidity is 70%, and it's not raining... but it might as well be.

I drive through the Flint Hills at night, and often hit a narrow trough of cool air - it's wonderful! Coming out of it and heading back into the heat, a layer of fog hovers over everything. It looks like steam rises up from the hills themselves.

Kansas used to be an ocean... at times we still pretend we are; wind and water - one way or another, we got it. Shy
