the fig tree
jesus was hungry, saw a tree and when he got near it he saw it had no fruits then he proceeds to curse the tree making it whither Angry

what exactly was the point of doing that ?:Facepalm

the tree didn't have any figs... .well there's probably plenty of other fig trees nearby why not go look there for some figs to chow down on ? Dodgy

what is the point of the writers bothering to write this down ? to show that jesus is a dick to trees when he's hungry ? Dodgy Facepalm

is this the reason why snickers bar ads use hunger-induced-crankiness as their theme ? Consider

also now I'm in the mood for a bucket of fried chicken, a BigMac, popcorn chicken and french fries after talking about hunger DroolingDroolingDroolingDroolingDrooling

edit: foirgot to add this

he turned water into wine and multiplied fish and bread times a million..... why can't he just turn dust into a baloney sandwich and eat it then shut up ?

RE: the fig tree
"Figs" are just a metaphor for "fags." God is really not a fan of cigarette butts, and he wants you to quit smoking.

Also, don't forget the next verse, where Jesus scared a bunch of birds, probably giving them PTSD.
Mark 11:15 - NIV Wrote:On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

I believe it's actually a metaphor about facebook posting Christians specifically.

as an offering
Leviticus 12:6-8 Wrote:6 “‘When the days of her purification for a son or daughter are over, she is to bring to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting a year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or a dove for a sin offering.[a] 7 He shall offer them before the Lord to make atonement for her, and then she will be ceremonially clean from her flow of blood.

“‘These are the regulations for the woman who gives birth to a boy or a girl. 8 But if she cannot afford a lamb, she is to bring two doves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.’”
