In case you are serious God wanted to smell the burning carcasses of animals at certain times to be decided by the positions of the stars etc... So the poor were required to buy a dove to be offered as a sacrifice to God for his nose candy. That is if they were unable to bring one on their multiday walk to the temple.

They all have variations on "God hates figs" on their signs. The text at the top is Mark 11:14.

RE: the fig tree
Blasting the fig tree was to show how powerful Jesus supposedly was. But I'd think he'd use his juju magic to make the tree miraculously grow figs overnight. Better yet; "Munch, munch munch! You guys wants some fig newtons?" If you're gonna do magic, do some thoughtful magic.
