Facepalm Flying Spaghetti ****ing Christ......... hey I like the sound of that Laugh out load

it seems the worlds largest 10% income tax collection office is not only protecting pedophiles but porn content collectors as well Censored Evil_monster but only one of the bastards were named

Quote: Archbishop Josef Wesolowski as one of the priests that has been found guilty of doing so.
As reported earlier, Wesolowski was found guilty of possessing over 100,000 videos and images of children being forced into sexual acts as well as molesting several minors during his years in Poland and the Dominican Republic. It was only recently that he was defrocked and removed from his official post. Yet, he has not been sent to jail and continues to be under house arrest at the Vatican. Reportedly, Wesolowski’s house arrest is only an eyewash, since the Vatican found itself cornered after the former archbishop was seen freely roaming the streets of the Catholic city-state after being quietly whisked away from the Dominican Republic so as to not be prosecuted there.

you don't say Facepalm

lets see:
protecting child molesters,
supported mother(***ing) teresa and other certain people,
condemning contraception and parents who don't wanna have kids,
condemn gay marriage and abortion,
interfering in international affairs making things worse,
condemning free speech,
taking 10% of peoples hard earned money
using double standards to condemn everyone else of something they proudly do
and now protecting a giant stash of porn that should be burnt
and misuse of power to hide the truth from the law in regards to matters/facts in relations to or matters incidental to the aforementioned

just how long is this list gonna grow before the church goes extinct

whats next ? the pope and his clergy caught going to hotels with prostitutes ? now that would be an interesting scandal

I very much doubt that would happen. Do you know how hard it is to find a preteen male prostitute these days?

Now we know why the Vatican Archives need to be so large and underground.

Twisted fucks.

Twisted fucks.

not just the underground archives but the PC and laptop in his room as well, he can't travel without this shit

Quote:All of this, despite over 160 videos of teenage boys being found on Wesolowski’s personal computer where they are seen being forced to masturbate and have sex with one another. Additionally, there were videos of the minors being forced to have sex with adults as well. The guilty man had tediously filed more than 86,000 pictures into different categories in locked folders and already deleted at least 45,000 others at the time of his conviction. He is also believed to have carried a stash of child pornography on his personal laptop while traveling.

and this is only ONE guy, and we all know it never ends with just one when it comes to religion

That's horrible, but honestly I don't quite understand the idea that being in possession of child pornography is somehow "protecting" the person who committed it. Would I be "protecting" a murderer if I downloaded a picture of a child with his head chopped off? Would anyone try to arrest a person for simply downloading said picture. It just seems like a bit of a double-standard to me.

Btw, I'm not talking about content that's behind a paywall, or cases where the picture is revealing the identity of the molester, but you're keeping that person's identity a secret from the police (which I'm sure is the case for some of these Vatican files). In that case, you would be guilty of trying to aid in these crimes (which the Vatican very much is).

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

Why is this character not being tried in a secular court?

Well, on the one hand, if you've lived your whole life in thrall to a particular belief-system and culture (one often tied to your ethnic heritage as well), you have a powerful incentive to see even massive and widespread pederasty as an edge case, so long as it doesn't effect you personally. It's easier to do that than to follow those implications where they lead.

On the other hand, one can't imagine a more Catholic country than Ireland, and religiosity has taken an unprecedented nose-dive there:

My prediction: the RCC has finally realized it has to appear to Do Something, so it is starting to cut its losses. Heads will roll, contrition will be expressed, but they'll stop short of eliminating the requirements of celibacy and heterosexuality for priests that I feel is the root of the problem. They will continue to repress their sexuality and will continue to have problems, but will be more sophisticated at keeping it underground.

It's debatable whether they will recoup their losses from this debacle but they will not disappear either. The most we can hope for is that this is the beginning of a long term loss of devotees and credibility. Here's another manifestation of that credibility problem:
