I listen to True Murder....a Canadian true crime author interviews other true crime authors about their books. Some are real good, some not so much...depends on the guest.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

NOTE: So far I've gotten all of my podcasts from iTunes.

As a former martial artist, I like the Practical Defense podcast by Alex Haddox:

I'm currently on a fitness kick, so TheFitCast.com is informative about that sort of thing.

If you like travel, The Amateur Traveler and Rick Steves are good:

I've also worked on my (European) Spanish with Coffee Break Spanish:

Due to Cognitive Dissonance, I discovered this last night:

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

Yeah, the Imaginary Friend's Show is Great.

I also recommend Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me, Friday Night Comedy (the UK version), Car Talk, The Comic Conspiracy, Geekbox, Mike and Pol Save the Universe (comics podcast)

The Pod Delusion, The Naked Scientist, BBC Documentaries, The Skeprechauns, Point of Inquiry, Titanium Physicists, Rationally Speaking, Material World, Amateur Skeptics, Reasonable Doubts (really good podcast that's critical of Religion), Consequence from the JREF, Astronomy Cast, Monstertalk, Oh No Ross and Carrie, Quakcast are all good science/skepticism podcasts.
Ooh, and the Infinite Monkey Cage. Oh, I mention Skeptics with a K earlier, they have two other pods, Be Reasonable where they interview a person with fringe beliefs. Like Flat Earthers, and Inkredulous, which is sort of like Wait Wait Don't Tell me or Friday Night Comedy.
Common Sense by Dan Carlin is my favorite political commentary pod.
For history I like his Hardcore History and another podcast called the Ancient World.

That's all I can remember at the moment...

I found some of the Nature podcasts to be interesting. Not all if them though.

RE: what other podcasts do you listen to?
I found a new true crime podcast (at least it's new to me). It was mentioned on another one I listen to and is called Sword and Scale. It's well-produced and the narrator has a pleasant voice.

This is not for the squeamish! This show covers some pretty rough stuff.

But, if you are interested in listening to just how twisted people can be...this is a podcast you may enjoy.

****Sometimes Penn Jillettes "Sunday School", however, he seems to rarely delve into the meat of atheism. He is, nonetheless, a super smart guy and entertaining. Just not much 'atheist' info being broadcast from his podcast.
