what would you put in a non emergency blackout kit....
"for fun".... basically year after year I say I am going to do this but I want to put together a nerd/geek and a normal "without electricity to your house entertainment kit"... the reason is that I live in such a blackout prone area... this becomes necessary. so besides a solar electricity battery charger what can I put in there for cheap. ty for your time.

The human is walking constantly behind the horse, so........
.........
......
.....Why don't we just use the human?

Shut up, my plan is brilliant and flawless.

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

Condoms

Then you'll look forward to power outages. Who knows? You might even be tempted to throw the switch on the main circuit breaker and pretend there's an outage... Smile

In addition to books and candles - flashlight, lighters, matches. is it hot or cold where you live? I'm surprised I still have power at my house right now. North Alabama just got iced over today. We have a kerosene heater. Years past when we've lost power for a week or so we'd put the heater in the kitchen and play card games in the candlelight. When we lost power due to the tornados destroying half the damn state it was hot outside - water, sunscreen, bug repellant, little battery operated misting fans.

Food that can be eaten without being cooked (such as beanee weenees, deviled ham). Fruits and veggies. Maybe a little Coleman camping grill so you CAN cook your food.
