RE: who the f is Yochanan?!?!
Here's his latest:

OK
here is one point for you, we are nearing 7 billion people on the
planet. Well using the simple math of demographics we are able to chart
future populations of 2020, 2025, 2050 etc...
Well
work that demographic math backwards and it shows the earths population
started around four thousand years ago, which coincidentally fits in
with a piece of history called Noah's flood (plus genetics also proves
mankind had a bottle neck in his DNA).
So
this is an exponential difference from when the homo-sapiens were
supposed to arrive according to evolutionary hypothesis, which states
majoritively it started 200,000 years ago
How do you explain this simple fact?

RE: who the f is Yochanan?!?!
Haha, wow. Does he care to show his math and any variables included in it? Variables should probably include changes in climates, pandemic disease, changes in birth rates, wars, or any other factors which might affect the rate at which a population grows or even shrinks?

We can estimate population growth, but that's with the understanding that we're at a point in history where people live longer, giving birth is safer for both the mother and child, diseases kill fewer people annually, wars kill fewer people than ever before, etc. Overall the population can grow faster today than in the past. You don't simply use the same algorithm to work backwards.

That's precious.

Pass the "dazzle them with brilliance" and move directly to "baffle them with bullshit."

It's not even his vocabulary that's cumbersome- it's his inability to make his point without serious twists in logic and leaps to conclusions that are unsubstantiated. Moreover, it's painful to read through and try to understand what he's thinking and how he reached his conclusions. And that's from only reading the first bit... I really did try.

I suppose after saying that he'd just call me unintelligent and walk away. If that's the cost of not having to submit myself to that brain blender, then so be it.

You have a bottle jammed in your DNA?

It's not only that, he also completely ignores the exponential growth of the human population that has occurred within the last century. In order for us to be able to work the math backwards, the growth would have had to be somewhat consistent in the past, which is clearly not the case.

lol

Even Answers in Genesis ditched this argument, didn't they? Aside from the fact that this is, you know, flat-out not the case (the math does not show what you say it does), but the math is also completely irrelevant because population growth has not followed a linear or even geometric progression. Human population has grown to match the available resources, and there is no "average" growth rate. Technology increases available resources, thus increasing growth rate over the last few hundred years.

E 2 = (mc 2)2 + (pc )2
614C → 714N + e + ̅νe
2 K(s) + 2 H2O(l) → 2 KOH(aq) + H2 (g) + 196 kJ/mol
It works, bitches.

Ask him how he knows his god is a "him" ?
The whole ball of crap is an argument from Special Pleading.
Actually there is NOTHING more illogical that the "Christian" worldview, where an ancient angry deity needed his son to die, so he could be appeased.
