The first story has a misleading headline about parachuting forces in. The general is not quoted as saying that.

right, the general admits that special forces are sent in, and the headlines say parachuted in.

I'm a bit of a stickler for accuracy in (at least) the titles of threads and I'm still searching for evidence that he was actually "fired".
