» Jasozz - 14-05-08 10:51 -- Which is also our break room. So no one can get to their lunches.
» Jasozz - 14-05-08 10:51 -- Wow, so there's this third party engineering group here for a meeting, and they all just holed up in the meeting room
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:50 -- Ah... maybe it's that I feel I'm being forced to invade their privacy. The brushing of one's teeth is (in my mind) a ritual one does before they present themselves to others, a private thing that only a select few people see them do. So to see someone that way (whom you are not living with) feels like an invasion of their privacy. Something I would not ordinarily do. And yet here I am confronted with this private moment of theirs and it gives me the bad feels. Hobo Tongue
» Jasozz - 14-05-08 10:50 -- olololol
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:42 -- My silly thoughts Tongue
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:42 -- Just ignore me Blush
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:42 -- And that feels intimate.
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:41 -- People come to work (typically) as fixed up and ready for the day as they're going to be. So seeing them do pre-work things feels like seeing them before they're ready to face the world.
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:40 -- Eh, I dunno Blush
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:40 -- No. More like, just seeing something I shouldn't be privy to.
» Jasozz - 14-05-08 10:38 -- You feel like if someones brushing their teeth near you, you should be getting into PJ's and hopping into bed with them next?
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:37 -- Because it doesn't necessarily gross me out. Brushing one's teeth is a good thing. But at work? It just doesn't feel appropriate. That's something you do at home.
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:36 -- I'm really just trying to understand what it is about it that bugs me. I really think it is an intimacy thing. Yes
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:36 -- Laugh out load
» Jasozz - 14-05-08 10:35 -- Revs leans in creepily towards his coworkers while he flosses
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:34 -- How 'bout you Revs? Where do you fall on the "brushing your teeth at work" issue?
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:33 -- No? Yay Big Grin
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:33 -- (report) EA is rambling 'bout Revs again Dodgy Tongue
» Revenant77x - 14-05-08 10:33 -- no
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:33 -- (report) EA is at it with her fuckin' hobos again - can't you get her to stop? Tongue
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:33 -- Surely not.
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:32 -- I wonder if anyone's ever reported any of my stuff? Consider
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:32 -- Report? Me?? Sadcryface2
» Jasozz - 14-05-08 10:31 -- That dang report button is too close to the edge of the window
» Jasozz - 14-05-08 10:31 -- Whoops, almost reported you on accident
» Jasozz - 14-05-08 10:31 -- Laugh out load Yeah I guess I can see that
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:28 -- Maybe it's the intimacy of it. Typically, the only folks you're going to see brushing their teeth are family or your lover. So seeing a co-worker brush their teeth feels a bit too uh... close for comfort. Yes
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:27 -- It just makes me have this Confused reaction for some reason.
» Jasozz - 14-05-08 10:26 -- Brushing your teeth at work is scientifically proven to make you die alone.
» Jasozz - 14-05-08 10:26 -- Nope
» Escape Artist - 14-05-08 10:21 -- Is it strange that I get weirded out by people who brush their teeth at work? Undecided
